I haven’t updated in quite awhile, but that’s due to the fact that I honestly can’t think of what I should write about anymore. So perhaps I should leave this open-ended. Is there anything that you readers might like to know about that I haven’t covered? I will try my best to answer.

I think your blog is very interesting. I found it only some weeks ago. (I am Finnish but live outside of Finland.)

It would be interesting to hear how long you want to stay in Finland and how important suomenusko is to you these days.

I became interested in suomenusko some years ago, before Taivaannaula even existed. I found your blog via google by accident and I think it’s very very interesting. So, please, keep on writing more about your thoughts…

Thanks for your nice comment. Originally I was planning to make this all scholarly, but I don’t think the blog will be around very long if I just do that. I will take your suggestion and write more about my own experience. Perhaps sometime this week!

I am interested in learning as much as I can about both Tapio and Mielikki. How important are they to modern-day practitioners over in Finland? They are the god and goddess I feel most connected to right now. Also, how important is the forest, and are there any rituals that you know of that would honour the animals, plants, rocks, spirits of the forest? But, please don’t feel like you have to answer all of that. It’s a suggestion after all. 🙂 Thank you.
